The work

Context

World Kinect is a global fuel and logistics operator headquartered in Miami, moving billions of gallons a year across commercial land fleets and aviation customers in dozens of countries. The Land and Aviation divisions run very different operations (truck and depot logistics on one side, airport and FBO fueling on the other) against a shared ERP backbone and a common finance and compliance stack. The role sat between those divisional operations teams, finance, and IT through a multi-year modernization program that included the Oracle 11i replacement and the organization's Waterfall-to-Agile transition.

What I did

  • Owned the end-to-end product roadmap for the North American Customer Portal, working across the Billing, MDM, and Logistics squads.
  • Conducted on-site user research and driver ride-alongs in pilot regions to diagnose field app failures. Found that drivers had no voice in requirements and that dispatch was manually overriding the route optimizer, then realigned the product backlog to real-world driver conditions and drove an IoT hardware transition.
  • Led the Oracle 11i replacement program from requirements gathering through go-live.
  • Acted as primary liaison between operations, finance, and IT during the organization's Waterfall-to-Agile transition.
  • Supported cross-divisional process harmonization across Land and Aviation workflows.
  • Grew from first enterprise role into a senior BA managing multi-year programs end to end.

Outcomes

  • The transformation program automated 80% of manual logistics processing across the division within a two-year cycle.
  • Oracle 11i replacement shipped to production.
  • Waterfall-to-Agile transition adopted across the BA function during tenure.
