Context

Toyota's Global Planning System runs demand forecasting across North America and Japan-based operations. The modernization effort cut across supply planning, engineering, and business stakeholders on two continents, each operating on different timezones, delivery cadences, and decision rights.

What I did

• Led delivery of demand forecasting modernization workstreams across the Global Planning System.
• Coordinated cross-functional teams spanning North America and Japan-based operations on a shared delivery cadence.
• Translated forecasting model behavior into stakeholder-readable narratives so supply planners could trust and adopt the new outputs.
• Held the delivery rhythm across timezone-split teams through standups, demos, risk reviews, and stakeholder check-ins.

Outcomes

• Kept the NA and Japan workstreams aligned on a single delivery cadence across the engagement.
• Forecasting model narratives adopted by supply planners as the default explanation for model-driven decisions.
• Delivered through the full engagement window (Jan 2024 to Jan 2025) with no missed major milestones.
