Drapery

Sheer, linen or fully lined for blackout. Every panel is made to the measurements we take in your home.

Sheer or blackout

A sheer softens daylight and keeps your view. Linen softens it too, and a lining adds privacy after dark. For bedrooms and media rooms, a blackout lining stops nearly all outside light.

Fabrics

Linen, wool, velvet and cotton, in weights from sheer to blackout-lined. We bring the samples to you.

Made to measure

Every panel is cut to the measurements we take in your home, tall and wide windows included.

How it hangs

On a rod, or on a slim ceiling or wall track for ripple fold. A track can take a motor.

A living room at midday, wood blinds tilted open and sunlight in stripes across the floor.

Midday

12:40PM

Wood blinds.

2-inch slats. Turn the wand to send light up to the ceiling, or close them for privacy.

Blinds

Real wood, or faux wood for kitchens and baths, in 2-inch slats that tilt to the angle you want.

Wood or faux wood

Real wood is lighter in weight and warmer in tone. Faux wood handles humidity, so it's the better pick for kitchens and baths.

Slat sizes

Most windows take 2-inch slats. Larger windows can go to 2.5-inch, for a wider view between them.

Tilting the slats

Tilt the slats up to bounce light off the ceiling, or close them for privacy, all without raising the blinds.

Where each belongs

Wood suits living rooms and bedrooms. Faux wood belongs wherever there is steam or splashing.

Night

Motorized shades.

Lower them with a tap, a remote or a schedule set for sunset.

Shades

Roller, cellular, solar, roman and woven wood, from light filtering to full blackout. Every style can take a motor.

Roller and blackout

A clean, flat fabric that rolls away out of sight. Blackout fabric stops nearly all light, and side channels close the gaps at the edges.

Cellular

Honeycomb cells hold a layer of air against the glass for extra insulation. Top-down, bottom-up lets light in above the privacy line.

Solar

A screen fabric that cuts glare and heat while you still see out. After dark, with lamps on, people can see in.

Motorized

Raise them from your phone or a wall switch, or set a schedule and let them close at sunset.

Not sure where to start?

Three quick questions, and we'll suggest what fits and why.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is the consultation free?

Yes. We come to you, measure every window and leave a written quote, free and with no obligation.

How long does it take?

Typically 2 to 4 weeks from measuring to installation for blinds and roller, cellular and solar shades, and 4 to 6 weeks for drapery, roman and woven wood shades. Your quote gives the date.

Do you offer shutters?

We don't make shutters. Our 2-inch wood blinds give a similar look and tilt the same way. See blinds.

Can I control shades from my phone?

Yes, with a motor. Your phone, a wall switch or a schedule can run every shade and drapery track. See motorized.

My windows are very tall. Is that a problem?

No. We make everything to your window sizes, and ripple fold on a ceiling track or motorized shades work well on windows you can't reach.

Can blinds and drapery work together?

Yes. Sheer or linen drapery softens the room, while blinds or a shade underneath handle light and privacy.

How do I care for them?

Most need only a light dusting or a pass with the vacuum. Each product lists its own care.
